FC United of Manchester - Peter

On Monday we made the short trip to Broadhurst Park and our local rivals FC United.

As a club, they rely so heavily on supporters and fans chipping in to keep the club going, so to stand out in that crowd takes some doing!
Peter has been at the club since it's inception in 2005, and has been working closely with the board of directors since 2015. He started this role initially due to ill health, and was supported wholeheartedly by the club throughout. There was no hesitation when we spoke to the club officials that Peter was the man we were looking for.

Peter knows everything about FC United, as club historian, and also has a vast collection of football memorabilia which is a true reflection of his love for the game.

He will no doubt be a face that visitors to Broadhurst Park will have seen on a matchday, mingling with the fans and keeping everyone happy.
People like Peter are the reason we have decided to celebrate the volunteers that bring us the beautiful game week in, week out. He is truly deserving of recognition for his services to non league football.
